We’ve landed in Sri Lanka! After a long but successful 11 hour flight, we got into 3 minibuses and travelled 3 hours across Sri Lanka, taking in all of the amazing scenery. With 20 minutes to go before arriving at our first hotel of the trip, Sigiriya Hotel, we had a quick pit stop for lunch before arriving. Finally, everyone could relax and a lazy afternoon by the pool was much needed. We ended the day with a special valentines dinner with excellent food and service. After a busy 24 hours travelling we headed off to bed to rest for an even busier day tomorrow!
